JCA connector: a file system adapter
Here is a sample JCA connector that can be used to access to the file system. The connector is pseudo-transactional: it is transacted but not very robust. It correctly creates and deletes files if the transaction is committed or rolled back. However, the connectors doesn’t keep the information in a transaction log, so if the system crash, the file system may be in an inconsistent state. The file system may also be in an inconsistent state, in the rare case of the transaction being rolled back after the first phase of the 2PC protocol.
